  Michael B. Barbick, DMD, MD

  Board Certified Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon

  Dr. Barbick is dual trained in both dentistry and medicine. Originally from Florida, he received his bachelor of science from the University of Central Florida in Microbiology and Molecular Biology. Dr. Barbick then received his dental and medical degree from the University of Florida in Gainesville. Following medical school he completed a one year internship in General Surgery at Shands Hospital/VA Medical Center in Gainesville, Florida. Dr. Barbick then completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at the University of Florida. With extensive training in dentistry, medicine, anesthesiology, and surgery, Dr. Barbick is uniquely qualified to treat a broad spectrum of oral and maxillofacial surgical issues for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and senior patients alike. Due to the broad scope of his training to include surgeries such as TMJ surgery, head and neck surgery, micro-surgical nerve repair and facial jaw reconstruction, he was recruited to the Institute of Oral and Facial Surgery in Saint Louis, Missouri to teach oral surgeons these surgical techniques though an accredited surgical fellowship program based out of Mercy hospital, a level one trauma center and major teaching hospital. During that time, Dr. Barbick was also a part of the Division of Plastic Surgery at Saint Louis University and served as an Adjunct Professor at the Missouri School of Dentistry and Oral Health. During four years in St. Louis, Dr. Barbick had performed over 200 major hospital surgeries each year to include surgeries such as orthognathic surgery, TMJ surgery, salivary gland surgery, removal of cyst/tumors of the jaws, facial trauma/reconstruction and micro-surgical nerve repair. He also extensively performed dental-alveolar procedures to include, the removal of teeth/wisdom teeth, the placement of dental implants, bone grafting and biopsies of the oral cavity all under local anesthesia or general anesthesia/sedation in his private practice. After four wonderful years of hospital and private practice in Saint Louis, Missouri, he had the distinguished opportunity to return to Florida and acquire the practice of Florida Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. He is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Florida Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Every month he makes time to travel to Gainesville to teach the dental students and oral surgery residents. Dr. Barbick does an amazing job at making his patients feel as comfortable as possible. They often comment on his friendly and gentle manner and appreciate his ability to get to know everyone. Through his calm and professional demeanor, patients are put at ease knowing that they will be cared for as if they were a family member.

  Dharma Bayron, DMD

  Board Certified Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon

  Dr. Dharma Bayron was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She completed her B.A. and D.M.D. at the University of Puerto Rico, receiving magna cum laude in both degrees. She was honored with the awards from the American Association of Oral Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Association of Orthodontists, American Academy of Oral Medicine, and American Dental Society of Anesthesiology. After receiving her doctorate, Dr. Bayron completed her internship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at University of Connecticut. During this time, she worked at three Level One Trauma Centers including Hartford Hospital, Saint Francis Hospital, and Connecticut Children’s Medical Center, in addition to UConn Health Center. Subsequently, Dr. Bayron completed her residency in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery at Brookdale Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. During her training, she gained a keen interest and proficiency in the management of facial trauma, pathology, cosmetic surgery, dental implants and dentoalveolar surgery. Outside of the office, Dharma enjoys spending time with her husband, dog and cat. She also enjoys trying new restaurants and traveling. Dr. Bayron is proud to be fluent in Spanish.

  Ashley Eugenio, DDS, MD

  Board Certified Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon

  Dr. Ashley Eugenio was born and raised just outside of Detroit, Michigan. She began her dental career early on by receiving an undergraduate degree in Dental Hygiene. She earned her Dental Degree from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. Her interest in specializing led her to continue her Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training at Ascension St. John Hospital in Metro Detroit, where she served as Chief Resident and completed a General Surgery Internship. During her residency in Detroit, she also received her Medical Degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine. Dr. Eugenio’s training afforded her a wealth of experience in all aspects of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, with specific interests in dentoalveolar surgery, maxillofacial trauma, pathology, management of head and neck infections, and corrective jaw surgery. Dr. Eugenio is certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. She holds privileges at Tampa’s BayCare St. Joseph’s Hospital. She aims to provide her patients with treatment in a comfortable setting, with the best care possible. Her experiences in her training have led her to understand that treating her patients at a personal level, beyond medicine and dentistry, can profoundly impact patient care. Outside the office, you can catch Dr. Eugenio with her husband and young daughter out on the water, checking out new food spots and searching for the best coffee in the Tampa Bay area. She and her husband, a bariatric surgeon, are excited to raise their family in Tampa and positively impact the lives of their patients.

  Elizabeth Casey Guadagni, DMD, MD

  Board Certified Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon

  Dr. Guadagni is originally from Connecticut and completed her undergraduate degree at Simmons College in Boston. She received her dental degree from the University of Connecticut and Medical Degree from the University of North Carolina, graduating both with honors. Dr. Guadagni went on to complete her General Surgery Internship and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, where she served as Chief Resident. Dr. Guadagni, offers a full-scope oral and maxillofacial surgeon specializing in dental extractions, dental implants, reconstructive jaw surgery, facial cosmetic surgery, maxillofacial pathology, TMJ surgery, facial trauma, and IV sedation. Dr. Guadagni is passionate about patient care, medicine, and dentistry and truly enjoys her work. In her free time, Dr. Guadagni enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children, reading fiction, exploring new restaurants, and listening to podcasts.

  Brian Hamilton, DDS

  Dr. Brian Hamilton is originally from St. Andrew, Jamaica. He moved to the United States and completed his Bachelors of Science degree in Biology at Binghamton University, New York. He then attained his doctor of dental surgery degree at Howard University College of Dentistry in Washington D.C. Following dental school, Dr. Hamilton completed a general practice residency at the Miami Veteran’s Hospital in Miami, FL. Dr. Hamilton went on to complete his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at Harlem Hospital in affiliation with Columbia University in Manhattan, New York. Upon completion of his residency, he went on to pursue a career in private practice and academia, becoming an attending surgeon at Lincoln Medical Center in the Bronx, New York, guiding future surgeons. Dr. Hamilton is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and also a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. As such, he practices a broad scope of oral surgery procedures including, dental alveolar surgery, dental implants, bone grafting, IV sedation, and facial trauma. Being from an island, Dr. Hamilton loves the ocean and in his free time is either near the water, in the water or on the water.

  Jeffrey Knittel, DDS, MD

  Dr. Jeffrey Knittel was born outside of St. Louis, Missouri, where he lived until relocating to the Tampa Bay area when he was six years old. Dr. Knittel met his wife, Megan, while attending the University of South Florida where he obtained a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Medical Science. Shortly after getting married, the couple moved to Memphis, Tennessee, where he attended dental school at the University of Tennessee. Dr. Knittel graduated from UT in 2015 with High Honors and was among the top graduates in his class, obtaining numerous awards including induction into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society, Dean’s Honor Society, and the Tipton Award for Student Research. Immediately following graduation, Dr. Knittel began a six-year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at the University of Florida, Gainesville. He obtained a medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine in 2018. During residency, he also completed a one-year General Surgery internship and served as Chief Resident during his final year of residency. While at UF, Dr. Knittel received extensive training in dentoalveolar surgery, implantology, corrective jaw surgery, facial trauma, pathology, reconstruction/bone grafting, and anesthesia. In his spare time, Dr. Knittel enjoys playing guitar, being outdoors, and spending time with his wife, Megan, and their four young sons.

  Michael London, DMD

  Dr. Michael London is a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon with over a decade of experience in dentistry. He obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree from McGill University in Montreal, Canada. Following dental school, Dr. London completed a General Practice Residency in Dentistry at the University of British Columbia. Then, he practiced as a general dentist before becoming an oral and maxillofacial surgeon. He went on to complete his Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency training program at the prestigious Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. At Emory, Dr. London acquired his expertise in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with extensive training in anesthesia, dentoalveolar surgery, dental implant surgery, bone grafting, facial trauma reconstruction, maxillofacial pathology, orthognathic surgery, temporomandibular disorders & facial pain, and the management of medically complex patients. Dr. London is exceptionally experienced in implant dentistry, including full mouth rehabilitation with all-on-4 & all-on-6 implant-supported full arch reconstruction, and is devoted to continuing education and advancing his knowledge in all areas of oral surgery. Dr. London is committed to providing his patients with the most comfortable, stress relieving & professional surgical experience. He ensures that his patients are educated on their options and make the most informed decisions for their care.   Manuel M. Rodriguez-Reyes, DDS

  Dr. Manuel M. Rodriguez-Reyes is an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon born in Holguin, Cuba. Dr. Rodriguez-Reyes earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree after graduating from the Santiago de Cuba Institute in 1995. He graduated as a Maxillofacial Surgeon in Cuba in 1999, where he completed a head and neck fellowship program at the National Oncologist Institute, Cuba. After practicing for six years as a general dentist in the Miami and Fort Myers area, Dr. Rodriguez-Reyes was accepted into the University of Puerto Rico Medical Science Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery program. Upon completing this residency program, he entered private practice in Virginia and, after two successful years, decided it was time to relocate back to Florida with his family. Dr. Manuel M. Rodriguez-Reyes provides the best medical and surgical care to all his patients while contributing to society, such as participating in surgical mission trips to the Dominican Republic. He has experience in Dental Alveolar Surgery, multiple dental implant restoration cases, OMFS trauma, Oncology Surgery, and Orthognathic Surgery. He participated in several Academic activities throughout his career, with numerous awards and publications on Head and Neck Reconstruction. Outside of surgery, Dr. Rodriguez-Reyes enjoys an active lifestyle, including working out, walking on the beach, and fishing. He also enjoys spending time with his family and friends and visiting counties with his family.

  Danielle Williams, DMD, MD

  Dr. Danielle Williams was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She attended Pennsylvania State University, attaining a Bachelors of Science and a minor in Psychology. At the University, she was a Schreyer Honors College Scholar, and completed her honors thesis in Nutritional Sciences. Dr. Williams then attended dental school at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where she graduated summa cum laude and as valedictorian in 2014. She advanced her training with a six-year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Louisiana State University in New Orleans. It involved rotations at multiple hospitals, including University Medical Center in New Orleans, which is a nationally verified Level One Trauma Center. During her training, she attended Louisiana State University-New Orleans School of Medicine and graduated with her medical degree in 2017. In residency, she received extensive training in dental implants and bone grafting, impacted wisdom teeth, orthognathic surgery (corrective jaw surgery), facial trauma, cosmetic surgery and injectables, benign and malignant pathology and reconstruction, TMJ surgery, and anesthesia. She has published on pathology and reconstruction, techniques for repair of mandible fractures, and anesthesia. In addition, she gave an award-winning presentation of her research at a national conference. She is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, as well as many local and national organizations. Dr. Williams treats all patients like family and provides comfortable and compassionate care. In her free time, Dr. Williams enjoys running or rollerblading on the Tampa Riverwalk, yoga, and lounging on the Florida beaches. Some of her favorite activities though, are traveling and exploring new restaurants with her husband, Travis. She hopes to add an English Bulldog (or two) to their family soon.

  Dr. Travis Williams is proud Tampa Bay Area native. He grew up in South Tampa and later moved to St. Pete Beach, where he graduated from St. Petersburg Catholic High School. He continued his education at the University of Tampa Honors College and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology with Magna Cum Laude distinction. Dr. Travis Williams attended dental school at the University of Pennsylvania where he graduated at the top of his class. Upon graduation, he received a scholarship award from the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons for his involvement as the President of the Schoenleber Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Society and Co-Founder of the Academy of Osseointegration Dental Student Implant Society. He continued to advance his training at Louisiana State University in New Orleans where he completed his medical degree. Following medical school, he completed a one-year General Surgery internship at University Medical Center in New Orleans, a Level I Trauma Center. Dr. Travis Williams then completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at Louisiana State University. In residency, he received extensive training in corrective jaw surgery, dental implants, various bone harvesting and grafting techniques, removal of wisdom teeth, treatment of TMJ disorders, cosmetic facial surgery/injectables, maxillofacial trauma, and removal of pathology with reconstruction of facial bones and soft tissues. He also holds multiple publications pertaining to the field of dentistry, wisdom teeth extraction, and facial reconstruction. He is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, as well as many local and national organizations.   Michael Yuan, DMD

  Board Certified Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon

  Dr. Yuan is originally from Orlando, Florida. A Florida local, he began swimming competitively at the age of 5. He continued his swimming career at the University of Florida, where he was elected as Team Captain for the University of Florida’s Men’s Swimming Team. While maintaining a rigorous athletic training schedule, he received his Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Human Nutrition from the University of Florida. For his collegiate academic and athletic achievements, he was nominated for the All-Southeastern Conference H. Boyd McWhorter Scholar-Athlete Award Scholarship as the University of Florida’s top male scholar-athlete. Dr. Yuan received his Doctor of Dental Medicine at the University of Florida College of Dentistry. During his time in dental school, he was Class President, the sole student representative on the University of Florida College of Dentistry’s Dean Search Committee, received numerous awards, and was inducted in the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon Society for being in the top 10% of his class in academic achievement. He completed his surgical residency at Emory University School of Medicine, Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Atlanta, Georgia. There, Dr. Yuan received extensive training in advanced oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures, including impacted wisdom teeth, dental implants, and bone grafting, facial trauma and reconstruction, orthognathic surgery (corrective jaw surgery), facial tumor and reconstructive surgery, temporomandibular joint (TMJ) surgery, and general anesthesia. Dr. Yuan is experienced in treating patients of all ages. His extensive training at five hospitals including Children’s Hospital of Atlanta, the Veterans Affairs Medical Center of Atlanta, Emory University Hospital, Emory University Midtown, and Atlanta’s only nationally verified Level One Trauma Center, Grady Memorial Hospital, is reflective of his commitment to Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. After his rigorous training, Dr. Yuan received and currently maintains his Board Certification from the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He shows a great commitment to his patients, local community, and abroad. Dr. Yuan volunteers at several local events in Florida. Dr. Yuan has participated in surgical mission trips to Haiti and Bolivia. With his comprehensive training in dentistry, anesthesiology, maxillofacial surgery, dentoalveolar and implant surgery, Dr. Yuan looks forward to meeting and working with you.   Stephanie Zastrow, DDS, MBA

  Board Certified Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon

  Dr. Stephanie Zastrow grew up in a northern suburb of Minneapolis, MN. She attended the University of Minnesota for her undergraduate education, where she majored in mechanical engineering and graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2011. At that time, she served as President of the Minnesota Alpha chapter of Tau Beta Pi, the national engineering honor society, and was awarded the organization’s top honor, Tau Beta Pi Laureate, for her achievements in academics and sports. Dr. Zastrow continued her education at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry and graduated with Highest Honors in 2015. During her time in dental school, she served as a Trustee to the Minnesota Dental Association and on several American Dental Association committees. After dental school, Dr. Zastrow moved to Augusta, GA to complete her four-year training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Augusta University. She received in-depth training in maxillofacial trauma and reconstruction, orthognathic surgery, pathology, TMJ surgery, dental extractions and implants, and in office sedation while serving various hospital systems, including the Augusta University Medical Center (a level one trauma center), Children’s Hospital of Georgia, Augusta State Medical Prison, and Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center. Dr. Zastrow has particular interests in wisdom tooth extractions, simple and complex dental implant cases, management of facial fractures, and orthognathic surgery. While in residency, Dr. Zastrow served as the President of the Resident Organization of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and as a liaison to several committees of AAOMS. She also concurrently completed a two-year MBA program in the Augusta University Hull College of Business. Outside of oral and maxillofacial surgery, Dr. Zastrow enjoys being involved in the figure skating community. She competed on the national and international level as a figure skater in singles skating and ice dancing, winning five state titles and being selected for US Figure Skating’s Scholastic Honors Team twice for excelling in academics and figure skating. Now she serves as a technical specialist for US Figure Skating and travels the country to take part in local, sectional, and national competitions.

  Clayton Hamrick, DMD, MD

  Clayton Hamrick, D.M.D., M.D., was born in Pensacola, FL and grew up in Raleigh, NC. He completed his undergraduate studies at Clemson University in 2006 where he obtained his Bachelor’s degree in biology. Dr. Hamrick then moved to Gainesville, FL (where his parents met and he met his wife). He completed his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree (D.M.D.) at the University of Florida College of Dentistry in 2012. He continued at the University of Florida to earn his medical degree (M.D.) in 2016, completed his residency in oral & maxillofacial surgery in 2018 and then earned a general surgery internship certificate in 2019. Following his residency training, Dr. Hamrick became a clinical assistant professor at the University of Florida College of Dentistry in the department of OMFS in 2019. During his 3 years as an attending at UF his main focus was training residents and he practiced full-scope OMFS. Dr. Hamrick is board-certified in oral & maxillofacial surgery. His clinical interests include dentoalveolar surgery, dental implants, orthognathic surgery, trauma, TMJ surgery, benign pathology and reconstruction. Dr. Hamrick is excited to continue his career in the area alongside his wife, Raquel, a Miami native and general dentist; their daughter, Austin; and son, Clay Jr. “CJ”.

  Kyle McCaskey, DDS, MD

  Board Certified Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon

  Originally from Santa Barbara, CA, Dr. McCaskey chose to stay close to home for his undergraduate studies and graduated from the University of California Santa Barbara with a degree in Microbiology. It was during this time he began to develop an appreciation for both dentistry and surgery. He went on to obtain his doctorate of dental surgery degree from the University Of Michigan School Of Dentistry. Following dental school, Dr. McCaskey then matched and enrolled in a 6-year oral and maxillofacial surgery residency program at the University of Florida-Jacksonville. Dr. McCaskey earned his MD from the University of Florida and then went on to complete his comprehensive training in all aspects of oral and maxillofacial surgery with a special interest in the areas of dentoalveolar surgery, implant rehabilitation, bone grafting, delivery of anesthesia, trauma, corrective jaw surgery, pathology, and facial reconstruction. In his spare time, Dr. McCaskey likes to stay active by either working out or running, being outside and working in the yard, traveling with his wife and spending time with his family and friends. When not fueling his passion for oral and maxillofacial surgery through continuing education courses on the weekends, you may find him on the beach or around town trying out the many different culinary flavors the Tampa area offers.

  Andrea Toufexis Esch

  DO

  Her academic accomplishments and commitment to teaching earned her recognition at the University of Buffalo, where she was on faculty. Dr. Esch received the Outstanding Teaching Award and the distinguished Adragna award for mentorship and excellence in patient care. She continued to expand her skill set by becoming certified as an Executive Physician Leader. Ultimately, she missed the sunshine state and returned to Florida where she fulfilled her dream of providing individualized anesthesia services in the office setting. She is also active in the HCA Hospital System. She prides her practice on safely facilitating the unique needs of the surgeons and patients for whom she has the honor of caring for. In her spare time, Dr. Andrea Esch enjoys traveling, speaking at conferences, and most importantly, spending quality time with her husband and children. Her passion for medicine, dedication to patient care and ongoing pursuit of excellence make her a valuable asset to the medical community and a trusted provider for her patients.

  Charlotte Fowler

  DMD, MD

  Dr. Charlotte Fowler was born in Reading, England and moved to Palo Alto, California in high school. She attended Santa Clara University attaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. While there she was the president of Tri-beta the biology honors society. She was also a cheerleader for SCU basketball, Go Broncos! Dr. Fowler then attended dental school at Tufts University in Boston where she received the Dr. Osher Award for Academic and Ethical Achievement. Following dental school, Dr. Fowler moved to Bradenton, Florida where she practiced as a general dentist. She then decided to further her training and become an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon.

  Dr. Jordan Ecker

  DMD, MD

  Dr. Ecker believes in a comprehensive approach to treating each and every patient. Not only was he taught the technical skills needed to complete a variety of oral surgery procedures, but he practices with an emphasis on compassion for his patients. Dr. Ecker is trained in dentoalveolar surgery, dental implantology, facial trauma, maxillofacial pathology, and orthognathic surgery. He is also licensed by the States of New York and Florida to provide deep sedation and general anesthesia, allowing him to put anxious patients at ease with intravenous sedation.
